It is one of the exciting fall activities Bucks County has and is held from September 5 – October 3, 2022. You can stop by and see all kinds of scarecrows, from small ones to larger-than-life ones, while also enjoying great company and food. On September 10, 11, 17, and 24th, you can make your own scarecrow to take with you, so you can start decorating your home for the season.
New Hope’s Annual Arts & Crafts Festival
In New Hope, on September 24th and 25th, you can stop by the annual Arts and Crafts Festival at the Solebury High School parking lot and see over 160 juried fine art exhibits. There will be work from painters, sculptures, glass artists, and photographers. There are many talented artists from the Philadelphia area, and some of them have yet to have the opportunity to be discovered; this festival can give them the chance of a lifetime.
None Such Farms’ Pumpkin Festival
If you are looking for a fun, family-friendly fall activity in Bucks County, None Such Farm has a great solution. Their annual pumpkin festivals and farm activities are held every Saturday and Sunday in October. No admission fee; you can come when you can, pick pumpkins and enjoy a tractor hayride with the whole family. The young children in the family can also enjoy the experience since anyone under two can ride for free.
Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres
Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres is one of the most popular fall activities Bucks County has. Open weekends, from September 24 – October 29, and located at a farm called Active Acres, you can walk through the haunted trails or take the Sleepy Hollow hayride. Dare to take a trip up to possibly one of Bucks County’s most haunted houses, Malfate Manor. Then you can finish off your day of festivities by enjoying a bonfire accompanied by live music and entertainment.
Peddler’s Village Apple Festival
Towards the end of the fall season, you can stop by another annual festival held at Peddler’s Village. The annual apple festival is a great way to end the fall activities Bucks County has, and enjoy getting some delicious food while you do. You can stop by from November 5-6 and experience the fun. No need to hurry because it is held all day, from 10 am to 6 pm, rain or shine. Spend time around your friends and family, listen to live music, and buy some freshly harvested apples!
